Another view of the Wet Room curbs (below)

View of the "chase" hole for the HVAC system, to send second floor HVAC to the attic (below)

1/6/2011 Basement floor poured (hard to see under two inches of snow), note the "curb" in the Wet Room. The Wet Room holds all the wet equipment (geothermal water furnace, hot water heaters, water manifold block) and has a drain in the floor, preventing flooding in any adjacent rooms of the basement should we have a mechanical problem with any equipment. First floor deck installation began.

1/4/2011 Basement floor being prepped for the pour.

Below: footers for the the barn are completed

12/6/2010 Foundation Dig is complete. Ready for Footers tomorrow.

12/3/2010 Foundation partially dug.

12/2/2010 Driveway scrapped and the topsoil removed from where the foundation will go.

11/30/2010 Driveway crush and run was to be laid. When the first scrape of the ground was made, it was discovered that the electric lines from the street were laid in the exact location of the driveway, so scraping had to halt while Miss Utility came to mark the cables. They, of course, took all day and no progress on the driveway was made. It is forecast to rain tomorrow, therefore the foundation dig is delayed a day...next scheduled for 2Dec. Building permit for the barn was issued today.

11/24/2010 Building Permit Issued for the primary home.
